Goodness, you must hate me (or you would if you had ever heard of me.) I save all stories and most meta with ?style=mine&mode=reply or ?mode=reply&style=mine, depending. I'm on dial-up at home and 99% of the time, I don't want to see comments and the usericons take approximately 7489317038247104732917298374 minutes to load because there are so damn many of them. Also, if I save a story to be read with ?mode=reply, I'm much more likely to actually leave feedback, so I think that's good for me and the author.
