I saw those beach shots come through Flickr, and they made me more than a little homesick. I don't really like the beach, and I remember that every time I go, but not before I go out in the middle of the night and listen to the waves and take off my shoes to feel the sand between my toes. Sigh. It's been a while since I've even been to North Carolina, let alone the beach house we were always in while I was growing up.
