i have a version of "i guess the lord must be in new york city" as done by sinead o'connor, and i love that song beyond the telling of it. i'm going to track down the harry nilsson very now, because i really love his voice, myself.

i also love your new york list. it makes me want to brainstorm more new york songs. ("new york city" by mason jennings! "new york city" by they might be giants! "new york minute" by the eagles"! hee.)
