There was an Empire Records fanfic shaped whole in my fannish life and I didn't even know it.

Lucas has been waiting almost four years for this, and while there have been long moments where he forgot that he wanted this desperately, there have been longer moments when he has not, and it's not like he's been sitting around pining for AJ or anything, but he sent AJ glue and AJ sent him art.
