You definitely aren't alone in your dislike. I've only seen two positive reviews from people on my f'list, and those were both from folks who never have anything negative to say about *anything*, so I don't give much weight to their opinions.

i'm not deleting the tivo season pass yet, but i'm just disillusioned in a way i had hoped to avoid, you know? it's not going anywhere, or, well, it's going somewhere, but the map is crumbling and the driver doesn't really have directions. blech.

i am just not engaged at all; the characters i'm most interested in are either dead (shannon) or hardly involved (hurley, sayid, sawyer). jack and ana lucia and locke get big fat thumbs downs from me.

yeah, and see, vmars and i went on a whole bunch of dates last summer, and in the end it turns out that we really don't like each other very much at all. so i got back together with lost for a while, but now ... i think it's really over.

You know, I thought the ep was boring and pointless, but. I really thought a lot of last seasons eps were less than stellar, too and yet I stayed with it. When it's good, it's very good and when it's bad it's just there-- I never loathe it. I like it just enough to care every week but not enough to get too upset when it disappoints. It's kind of exactly where I need it to be.

I would note, however, that if you don't have the strength of character to let The O.C. know that it's hurt you, I'm not sure it's fair to dump anything else.

part of it is i feel like lost has been so jack-and-kate-and-analucia centric this season (which isn't true, i know it isn't true, but i feel that way) and i'm like, WHERE ARE ALL THE CHARACTERS I LIKE? even last year when the episodes were less than stellar i was at least seeing some of the characters i really like play big roles. and now ... eh. last year i was excited about the bad episodes. this year i keep forgetting it's on. *shrug*

i know, i KNOW! i just keep hoping that the oc will show up with a six pack and some chocolate and apologize, because i'm an optimist, and instead it just keeps grunting and putting its feet up on the coffee table to watch golf. i'm trapped in an abusive relationship, send help! (or at least someone to delete the season pass from the tivo.)

Wasn't it awful? And not awful in the I-threw-things-at-the-tv way, but more the, wow-that-was-just-boring-television way. Like the boyfriend who is more interested in staying in to watch the paint dry and eat stale cheetos than go out and throw back a few with, you know, actual people.

And in conclusion, More Jin, Sun, Sayid and Hurley PLEASE.

GAAAH. I am two eps behind, so I haven't seen anything since "the 23rd psalm" which ROCKED and now i'm like, omg, i dont even want to watch this.

(of course the fact that last week's ep is a jack ep and seems to be about michael and walt, both of whom i have completely stoped caring about in any real way - not to the others: EAT THE CHILD. and just..i dont know. it's been so up and down.)
