Yes, I love my city. I haven't been to Taste in years, I hate the crowds, except for this past 4th of July. That's the best day to go, I think.

i can't stand the crowds, either, but it's so typically and fiercely chicago, i couldn't leave it out. :D

Absolutely. My friend goes every year on the fourth, she says it's the best time. It wasn't that crowded, but it did fill up as the day went on. At least they have more of a variety.

I used to ride the Red Line all the time, from Rogers Park then from Evanston, just past Howard. And I lived by Wrigley Field for a couple of years.
