i may be a bird in a cage but at least it's your cage

the strap that came with six, the D60, is too short for me -- when i sling it across my body, it sits at my waist instead of down by my hip. and so i want to replace it, and if i'm going to replace it, i'm going to replace it with something awesome. you can help me decide!

- How do you style your hair?
i run a towel over my head, i flip my hair over and fluff the poodle up a little with my fingers. if we're going out i either use frizz ease or a sleek-and-shine product to reduce the frizz and control the curls a little. i genuinely cannot remember the last time i brushed or combed my hair.

- What are you wearing now?
a pink button-down shirt, black wide-leg dress pants with a very very faint silver pinstripe, black round-toe heels. i have a meeting with people not-in-my-office today, thus grown-up clothes.

- What’s your occupation?
the short, everyone-understands-it answer is data analyst. the long answer is ... taxonomy and metadata specialist, working on a classification and database design project. and that's the short long answer. i work for a large state university in an administrative department, not an academic one.

- Do you nap a lot?
more than i should. i love napping like whoa.

triskellita, after the old ceremony show last saturday.

carolina baseball, photography, jason isbell, planning epic traveling.

i am currently peeling and eating one of those three clementines.

a million and a half things. but i've got the last two richard jury novels from the library, and i'm hoping to grab the new christopher moore soon.

flickr, my google reader, lj, the raleigh craigslist photo page, delicious.

a new ipod and an sd card reader with my tax refund. oh, and a cherry coke zero this morning at the gas station.

a live jason isbell set from the berkeley cafe, last march.

ridiculous mary sue fantasies.
