"... this is not a technician, this is an artist."

Dana and Natalie both have terrible hair at the beginning of SN S1. Really, really bad. Why was it so bad?

I want to marry Dan Rydell. And also this show never, ever gets bad, or old, or tired. I can watch every single episode over and over and still adore it. That's rare, and lucky, and so tragic that there aren't ever going to be anymore.

More red wine for me.

Oh - and it's a rare show, it really is, where the final moments of the pilot episode can make me weep, no matter how many times I have seen it. *weeps*

And I hate the fucking laugh track with the fire of a thousand suns.

It's so true. And there aren't even any episodes that are bad. Of course, on the other hand, I have a very hard time picking a favourite episode, because I love them all so very much.

I think my favorite episode is "Thespis", or maybe "Six Southern Gentlemen Of Tennessee", but yeah - I'm like you. I look at the backs of the DVDs and go, "I can't pick one! They're all so good!" And then I feel compelled to watch the entire second season again in one sitting.

Hooray for more SN fans on my friends list!

The good part of having my wisdom tooth removed? I got to watch the entire lot in one go!

Now I want to go back and watch them when actually conscious, ah well.

I like Dana's long hair (S2) but then she wears it up all the time which isn't as good.

I managed to avoid laugh track by watching it with the volume fairly low and subtitles.

Thank you so much for pimping this series so I bought the DVDs.

When I was sick at New Year's, I dozed through the entire second season at one point or another. In addition to be quite possibly the best show ever when I'm awake and sober, it is officially the best show ever to sleep to. The cadences of the dialogue are wonderfully soothing.

The laugh track disappears in the second season, so that's good. But on the first few episodes, it's terribly disconcerting to me. You had the right idea.

I am always glad to share the SN love. I'm going to try to finish that Casey fic tonight, so keep an eye out for it in the next couple of days.

I am glad you're feeling better enough to be up and about!

I LOVE SPORTS NIGHT!

I have the complete two-season DVD set, and they've threatened to come out with more.

Want to speak to you more on this. And isn't Natalie the most luscious thing you've ever seen? (Not exactly Tara, I know, but she has this je nais se quoi all her own!)

Hope to hear from you soon, and I hope you're well.

Sincerely,
T5W

That would certinaly be interesting, since the two season are all they every filmed before cancellation, and Sorkin (and Krause and Charles) have all said that there will never be any more new SN episodes. :)

And isn't Natalie the most luscious thing you've ever seen?
I'm always far too distracted by Danny to really notice, sadly.

Yesterday morning, "Six Southern Gentlemen" completely undid me for the first time. I watched Isaac's editorial and then lay on the couch and wept as though I'd just been dumped.

*blows nose*
*sniffles*

I always cry at Thespis - the whole Dan/Casey anniversary thing, and Isaac and his grandson ...
