i may be a bird in a cage but at least it's your cage

paula deen's two sons are so completely adorable. and they're going to have their own show on the food network! i approve of this completely. (also i really need a food processor. yes, i spent the weekend watching the food network. SO WHAT?)

i'm restless: i'm struggling to write, even though i'm enjoying both stories i'm working on right now (a twisted fairy tale, which is a piece of original fiction, and a long, campy stargate: atlantis story that is in turns tooth-grindingly difficult and enormous amounts of fun); i have the sudden urge to drive for miles along the twisty backwoods two-lane highways, but the car is busted until the end of the week and i'm limited to the places that oracleasb is generously willing to haul my pathetic ass; worry about money, despite the second job. my apartment is a mess - my apartment is dirty in addition to its usual clutter - and i can't motivate myself to clean it. restlessness and a large helping of frustration, and no way to break out of it that i can see. *insert enormous heaving sigh here*

and i have a devoted addiction to pointless polls.
