thank you for josh lyman and sam seaborn, for terrible poker faces and running twenty blocks in the rain, for what has turned out to be my otp to end all otps. for cj cregg, who made my little sister (who, at 5'11", is not so little) believe that tall women could kick ass and take names. for toby, who is only the third yankees fan in the world that i don't want to set on fire. for mandy, whose haircut i stole when i needed a change that changed everything. for ainsley and amy and mallory and laurie, even when they made me crazy. for joey lucas, who never failed to smack josh down. for donna and mrs. landingham, the former who would always rather shout for josh, and the latter who wished the president wouldn't shout for her. for abbey, the only person in the world who could tell jed bartlet that his ego was the size of montana. for leo mcgarry, who didn't always do the right thing but who always made sure that jed tried to, and who knew the way out. thank you for a president i believed in.
