+ Gaining on the Real Thing, by puddle_took. lotrips. Dom/Billy, PG. This is. It's happy! And angsty! And Christmassy! And it's fucking brilliant, is what it is.

+ In The Business. BtVS/A:tS. Anya/Fred, R. I have shouted over and over again about the two universes losing contact with each other when Buffy left the WB for UPN, and this is an example of how it could have been. It's delicate and honest and gorgeous and crazy and brilliant, and it's two of my favorite characters written so spot-on that Joss could have composed this.

+ Christmas Mixer. Good Omens/Dogma crossover. This is just. The POV is brilliant, and the details, and it made me laugh 'til I choked on a cookie. Which only goes to show me that I shouldn't ever eat while reading Good Omens fic.

In The News:
+ The MPAA has shut down Suprnova.org. Okay, so you know what? This baffles me. I mean, I understand on a simple level - I understand that these agencies and some people who make these things want to be compensated. File sharing takes that away. But seriously. Is the recording industry hurting that badly? No, they're not. And sharing files? Just means one more person hears their music. I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but Jesus. I just don't fucking get it.

so as we have done the last two years, insidian and i got together to watch the most recent lotr:ee movie with cast commentary tonight. we ordered too much thai food and then after we ate, she sat on one end of the couch and read jude law/jonny lee miller porn on her laptop and i sat on the other end of the couch and got stoned and read bruno and boots fic on my laptop and occasionally i flailed at the tv and complained about orlando.
